Some time ago, October I think, Molly challenged me to take an attractive cock shot after I claimed such a thing could not be done. Cock shots are always ugly, partly because cocks are ugly by nature, and partly because the men taking them are usually to horny to do it effectively.
So I tried. I tried to do a really nice, arty cock photo. And I failed.
I could have done this so much better. But I was horny.
This is the first time in a long time I’ve posted a picture of my penis, and I find myself a little nervous about it. You see, it’s easy for girls to look sexy, because you all look good from every angle. Us blokes? Well, we all just look like blokes.

So much to say here and in an effort not to offend I shall do my best to find the right words….
Firstly, you nervous? *grins Why am I finding that hard to believe yet somehow incredibly enduring, even sexy maybe? You surprise me sometimes Joe….and that is always a good thing.
Secondly…I agree about cock shots often being just, I can’t find the word…. too much. Too vulgar but being ugly?…. I disagree. I think cocks are beautiful, magical, strong yet tender, graceful, powerful, proud and raw. OK yes I am a cock lover, I admit it, but when a cock shot is right there really is nothing quite like it and I have seen some stunners in my time. Probably the best one I ever saw was one that Fact and Friction posted way back when.
To be honest Joe I would like to challenge you to more…. there are just not enough good cock shots around and this one leave me wanting more.

Definitely agree with Molly! I hate the social meme that male bodies and genitals are just “less nice to look at” than female. Yeah, if you don’t fancy men maybe, but if you’re a bi/gay bloke or a straight/bi female then not at all! I love the male body and I love looking at it. I’ve seen some pretty good cock shots (Jake of Facts and Friction being one of them) and some terrible ones. I could be wrong, but I think what the photographer has in mind matters. When I see a good shot, I feel the person is thinking, “My cock looks good, don’t you think so?”
But the bad ones look really crass, as if the person is thinking, “Oooh, I’m all hard and horny. You want some of this, eh?”
Major turn-off.

I think that’s a pretty powerful image really. My eye followed the arm along the bottom to the hard grip. The cock in silhouette looks..a bit thuggish!! Its a strong image.

I’m not a fan of cock shots either, but every once in a while I’m inspired and will go through with posting one it if the resulting image isn’t too bad. Any guy can post a photo of his cock, not everyone can do so in an artistic manner that doesn’t make you say “oh, another cheap cock shot”
